WHALE will be holding a Special Meeting of its membership on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 6:00 PM at the Seamen’s Bethel Chapel, 15 Johnny Cake Hill, in order to amend Article II: Purpose Statement in the WHALE By-Laws. Amendments to the purpose allow WHALE to qualify for Community Development Corporation (CDC) and Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) status with the state, making available additional project related grant and financing tools.
