On October 10th, a little after 9 AM, the steeple atop historic First Baptist Church was removed from the building and brought safely down to ground level. This is to allow stabilization and restoration to proceed on the supporting posts. If you weren’t in the vicinity of William Street that day, enjoy the pictures below!
